OUR IDEA
With more than 215,000,000 women in India not having access to sanitary napkins, we at Amara thought to ourselves, what can we do to change this? We wanted to create something that tackled this issue in India, and at the same time, created awareness around the world about the waste management crisis affecting the environment because of the use of sanitary napkins! After a lot of hard work, we have it with the AMARA box.
OUR PRODUCT
With Amara, customers are offered a customized monthly subscription box of premium biodegradable and compostable sanitary napkins, made of corn polylactic acid fiber, that directly reduces any negative impact caused by traditional sanitary napkins on the environment.

For every pad purchased by customers, Amara will deliver one sanitary pad to an Indian girl in need. With this mission in mind, the team is looking to improve the lives of millions of Indian women, not having access to sanitary hygiene products.
